Pricing has changed and model and changed, February 26, 2012 By This review is from: Sigma SD1 SLR (Electronics) This camera has been changed to the 'SD1 Merrill'. The pricing has gone down to less than 1/3 of the original price. The problem with this ad is that it is for the original release which was overpriced beyond all imagination. As of my writing there are no 'SD1 Merrill' listed on Amazon.

Before buying, you have to compare. Have a look at the Sigma Homepage, for the latest pricing!!!
This rating is for the price, not for the product. It is unbelievable, that there are still stores, which offer the camera for the previous much higher price, even months after the reduction!!!
